Verbal bullies

There are bullies who beat you up, and there are the ones that say really mean things either to your face or behind your back. Both of them stink.

Us 3 teens have had a verbal bully. Or a V.B.
She will do anything to put us down.
She was our best friend at one point, if you could say that. She made us carry everything, do everything for her. What was even worse, when only one of us hung out with her, she would talk really bad about the other girls.

Once we saw what she was doing, she was never called our friend again.

She still says bad things about us. She even says really mean things to our faces. But we have learned a secret.

We call it BOUNCING BACK!!! For example:

V.B : "What are you wearing?!?!" (in total disgust.)

3 teens: "We are wearing clothes. Do you like them?"

V.B: "No. I don't."

3 teens: "Hmm...Thats your problem."

See what I mean. BOUNCE BACK. That doesn't mean you need to be a V.B. back to them, you just need to stand up for yourself. When they say something mean, act like it was nothing.

NOTE: The best way to get through V.B problems is when you have a good friend that understands your situation.
